Bleckmann is a supply chain and logistics partner of international fashion brands. The company has locations in Grobbendonk, Desselgem and Ghent and a global partner network. It offers a wide range of distribution chain services that includes order management, customs, supplier management and 4PL supply chain management.
Getting the latest fashion trends from its clients to the stores every day requires meticulous planning for more than 4,000 employees. Its teams include both permanent and temporary staff who work around the clock at various locations and on the road.

Bleckmann’s complex operations required a solution that was perfectly tailored to its needs. The planning department wanted a system in which it could use permanent and temporary staff as needed. The HR department requested easier salary payments. And the Accounting department really had to have a staffing overview for certain cost centres.
“We were initially looking for a local provider of a new time tracking system. That is how Syntegro caught our eye.”
Syntegro’s programming transformed its standard software package into a customised masterpiece that could tackle complex challenges. Janssens notes that the combination of time management and an efficient planning system proved decisive.
A deep dive into Bleckmann’s operations and organisation was required to prepare for the implementation. The implementation team actively contributed, understood processes and incorporated them into the programming of the software.

Linked Systems
The option of smart links with other systems ensures that Bleckmann can actually use the data from the Syntegro software. The data is exported to the Business Intelligence environment.
“All our locations in Belgium use Syntegro’s hardware and software that fully integrate our time tracking, operations/location planning, cost allocation and access control.”
Administrative processes run better and error rates have fallen. Paper-based data collection and manual Excel entry have been replaced with automated systems.
